One of my awesome followers on IG messaged me about vegan shoes, and it occurred to me, I've never once posted about vegan shoes! There is a plethora of shoes you can choose from that are vegan. I'm going to start with one of my favorite websites, The Animal Rescue Site, where I've bought several pairs of boots that I basically live in during the cold winter months.
These paw print boots are cruelty free, with man-made materials, mid-rise, sweater material up your ankle and lower calf, complete with button details and little paw prints stitched into the front. Seriously cute and comfy!
Each purchase made from their website goes to help animals in need. These paw print boots are my JAM. They look great with my leggings, which is essentially all I wear anyway. I like the mid-rise, because I'm short. I have these in tan and lavender. They also make them in brown. Below, is another pair I bought, that's a little higher up. I don't like them as much as I like these, but I still like them. They match all the things!
These ones have one paw print on each boot, that's bigger and blingy! They have faux fur inside and down the side. They're cute, I just prefer them a little shorter, plus I love the sweater look. My mom wants these ones, so, I'm going to probably give them to her, since I ordered these today:
I also donated $5 to help where it's needed most, and my purchase funds 71 bowls of food for animals in need. Plus, look how cute they are?! I love the all over paw print design. The silver paw prints pop against the black, as do the white buttons against the black sweater! They also have some flip flops, sneaker, and sneaker sandals. So, you're bound to find something you like. I can only speak to the quality of the boots, because that's all I've ever purchased from them.
Some other places you can look are simply Target or Kohls. You can check the material, and make sure that everything is man-made. That's the simplest option, and often most affordable. There's also MooShoes. Here's the website: https://mooshoes.myshopify.com
You might have to copy and paste it. I still haven't gotten the hang of hyperlinks yet, despite writing over 300 posts on my blog lol. You'll find shoes and accessories for a variety of prices, some in the $30s, and others in the $100s+. There's a sale section too. They've got a lot of styles, and a lot of brands I've never even heard of. But, the exciting thing about that is, as you explore new brands, you can go on their websites and check out what else that brand has to offer.
As for walking shoes, I wear Adidas. But only certain pairs, and I bought two of them in different colors. Not all Adidas or Nike shoes are made with leather. These are a man-made upper and rubber sole. Here's my two pairs:
One pair I got at Kohls, and the other Famous Footwear. I have flat feet, so finding comfortable shoes that are both supportive but don't irritate my lack-there-of arch is important. These fulfill both of those needs. They're SO comfy and I love them.
So, finding adorable, affordable, and comfortable vegan shoes just takes a little research!
