Receiving my VeganCuts Box is always the highlight of my day. It's like, my work day was all sucky, then my VeganCuts box came and BOOM, instant happiness! This month's box contained a bunch of goodies to get you ready for the fall, aka the most wonderful time of the year.
The full size goodie in this month's box is the Au Naturale Creme Eyeshadow in Addiction. This retails for $20, which already pays for the box!
This shade is a deep shimmery gold, Tt's not a color I'm super thrilled with because I don't wear gold, like ever. But, it's a great color for fall, and it would probably look really nice paired up with another color. These eyeshadows can also be used as a liner with a liner brush. These organic shadows contain oils to nourish skin and provide long lasting color. It felt smooth to the touch, and really creamy when I applied it on my finger.
Next up we have the Lava Terra Australian Black Clay Mask from Live by Being.
This sample size is actually pretty generous considering you don't need a lot of product to make a mask. This mask contains only 4 ingredients: Australian Black Clay, electrically-charged activated charcoal, organic sea buckhorn fruit powder, and organic rosemary essential oil. Together, these ingredients open your pores to purify and release toxins so you can have fresher nicer skin! It's a super fine powder, almost like a dust. This stuff is all natural, hand crafted in small batches, and awesome. I used it the day I received my box,and a few times after, as you can see!
I had a heck of a time mixing this stuff because I kept adding too much water and I made a huge mess. You mix 2 parts mask with 1 part water, which apparently was too complicated for me lol. But right away I could feel the rosemary on my skin; it was invigorating! I kept it on for about 15 minutes, until it fully dried. When I rinsed it off with just water, I noticed I had some black flecks in my pores around my nose and cheeks (which shows you it actually opened my pores, like it said it would) so I used facewash and scrubbed a little and I was able to get the rest of the product out of my pores. My skin felt soft, smooth, and clean afterwards. This one was definitely a winner for me! The full 2 oz. bottle retails for $24 and is available on livebybeing.co if you're interested!
Next up we have Enfusia brand 2 oz. bath bomb in Let's Get Naked! How fun and cheeky is that name?!
This scent includes lots of fragrant fruits like grapefruit, strawberry, apples, black currant (one of my favorite scents!) and rose petals! I haven't used this yet, but it smells awesome, so I'm sure I will love it! The smallest size they have on their website is 4 oz.(this is 2 oz.to compare the size), and that retails for $3.99 if you're interested!
Next up we have the deluxe size sample of DermaE Hydrating Night Creme.
I know that DermaE is a fantastic brand. They have a variety of skin care for any concerns that you may have. This all natural product contains hyaluronic acid to plump skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. I'll be fighting my mom off with this one lol. This full 2 oz. container retails for $29.50 and is available on dermae.com if you're interested!
Next up are the Norabloom Organics Rose Flower Water pads. This pack contains 3 pre-moistened pads. This rose water is supposed to hydrate and calm skin and acne, but it is not recommended for cystic acne prone skin or super oily skin. So, I'll have to be careful with my oily skin. I'll probably try these on a day I'm lounging around with nowhere to go, just in case it turns me into an oil slick. The full size spray bottle is $30 and is available on norabloom.com if you wanna check it out. On their website they said you can actually use this as a room and/or linen spray too! So it's multipurposeful!
Last but certainly not least is the Chia Regular Hold Hair Spray by Aubrey Organics.
This is like a travel size, so it's a pretty decent size. The full size 8 oz. bottle retails for $9.98. I'm not a huge hair spray fan because I hate that my hair both looks and feels stiff, this apparently holds your hair in place while still retaining it's natural shine and bounce. But, I don't use hair spray like at all. So this one will go to my mom, as well as the DermaE creme and the eye shadow, but I'll report on her findings!
Overall, I would say you got your money's worth with this box, as you usually do with VeganCuts.
I love that VeganCuts tells you the value of each product in the box, so you can really tell you're getting your moneys worth. I look forward to trying the goodies and reviewing everything I haven't used yet for you! I'm thinking about doing a reveal post (like this one) for the Beauty Box and then a second post to review the stuff either together or individually from here on out. When I do the reveal post, I'll review things I've used up until that point. Then, the remainder will be reviewed in a different post. I always go back and update my Beauty Box posts about my stuff, but I always forget to mention that so you guys have no idea unless you go back and re-read them! So keep your eyes peeled for some more post coming soon about these goodies!
