Pocketbooks, wallets, clutches.. these items are necessities. A lot of times, you find a nice quality wallet, you love it, and you read the tag to discover it's leather. Bummer. Do you want to carry your necessities in something made from skin? Probably not. These two companies I'm about to tell you about today allows you to find quality products with great designs without any animal skins involved. First up, I want to talk about Lavishy.
I discovered Lavishy on The Herbivore Clothing's website one day while browsing. I saw this beautiful vegan leather fox wallet and I just loved it. I was fortunate enough that my best friend actually surprised me with it as a present!
The first thing that stood out to me when I got it was the stitching. It's beautiful and intricate and so detailed. The quality of the vegan leather is really great. You wouldn't know it was non-leather. It's very durable. I fit most of my cards in it no problem because there are a lot of slots. There's even a window slot for your ID. There's a spot to securely carry cash and a little zipper compartment for coins. All of your items stay secured with the wallet's snap closure. This wallet retails for $28.
Once I got my wallet and saw how beautiful it was, I immediately went to Lavishly's website to check out their other products. I was pretty amazed. They have SO many options. Not just different sized wallets, but handbags, clutches, handbags, tote bags, passport holders, makeup bags, jewelry, and more! They have other embroidery patterns, with other animals, floral designs, skulls, and much more. They have appliqué, and printed designs as well. There are so many different styles you can find something for everyone. They have unisex options as well.
Lavishy is a Toronto based company that was founded in 2001. They focus on making fashion fun, affordable, and eco friendly. They take inspiration from all around the globe, and from their love of animals and nature, which really shows in their creative designs. They only use vegan leather, which is biodegradable after 10 years. Better for the earth, for the animals, and for you! They also have one store front if you're ever fortunate enough to be in the Toronto area! Check out their website and have fun exploring all the beautiful options they have to offer!
Lastly, let's talk about Bungalow 360!
While I'm 27, I am still very much a kid at heart. I love cute things, and the patters from Bungalow 360 fit right in that category! They offer adorable animal designs, like my cute cow clutch you see above! This is another company I found on The Herbivore Clothing's website. Thank goodness for them, they offer so many small brand I might not find otherwise!
This snazzy little clutch has a cute polka dot design on the inside as well as a divider. It's zip closure allows you to carry your basics with comfort knowing nothing will fall out. You can be hand free thanks to the strap as well. You can wrap it around your wrist and keep shopping! This is perfect for holding my cards, cash, lip balm, and mini lotion. I never feel like carrying a big bag when I'm running stand and this is perfect for that! This was $10.
Bungalow 360 offers canvas clutches, wallets, tote bags, handbags, gym bags, and also vegan leather products as well. They are a small CA based company. They use a sweatshop free company in China for their products, which you can read their reasoning for doing so in their FAQ section.
For some reason, I can't get on their actual website from my phone (I have an iPhone 6.) But, you can make purchases from them from Amazon as well! So, if you're on a computer check out their website but you can always go on Amazon on Herbivore Clothing's website to check out their products as well.
Please, follow both of these companies on Instagram and always remember to shop small when you can!
