I don't often wear eyeshadow. Most mornings I barely have time for makeup let alone eyeshadow and all that fancy pantsness. But, sometimes I'm feeling fancy and on those days, I like to wear a little eyeshadow. And, on days I'm really feeling fancy, I like to put a pop of pink on my eyes. Pink isn't one of my usual colors that I wear on my eyes. Typically, it's neutrals and purples that I wear on my eyes. I have one go to pink eyeshadow, and it's one of my favorites: Sugarpill Loose Eyeshadow in Birthday Girl Pink.
This cruelty free vegan eyeshadow is so pretty and so fun! It's like a bubblegum pink with silver shimmer.
I swatched it on my forearm in natural light (left), and then in the actual direct sunlight (right), as you can see below:
Sugarpill is an awesome brand. While not 100% vegan (some of their colors contain carmine), they are totally cruelty free. Their eyeshadows are highly pigmented and last awhile, even without eyeshadow primer, which I seldom use. You get a lot of bang for your buck too. They're not super cheap, but they're a good quality and a good value. Each jar is 4g, which doesn't seem like a lot, but look at the size of the jar itself:
You get a decent amount and because it's highly pigmented, you don't need a lot to get the look you want to achieve. Unless you want to look like Mimi from The Drew Carey Show lol. Also, they also have such fun and bright colors. Pastels and bold neons, blues, greens, purples, silver, gold, etc. They're a super kawaii company, which is right up my alley. I absolutely recommend trying out their products. With all the colors they have to choose from, you're bound to find one you like.
If you're interested in purchasing this, or any of their other wonderful products, you can find them online on Sugarpill's website. This color retails for $13, and most of the other loose eyeshadows do as well but there is a gold shade that retails for $14. What I really love about their website is that they have a section for only vegan products, which takes the guess work out of each product. If loose eyeshadows aren't your thing, they also have pressed eyeshadows, which I prefer myself because I feel like they're less messy. And, they just released super glittery and fun nail polishes that I am itching to try. They're $13 a bottle which is a little much for me right now, but hopefully one day I can pick up one or two so I can review them for you.
Have you ever tried SugarPill's products?
