Me and my mom were part of the lucky winners of Ella+Mila Mother's Day Giveaway! We were both so excited. The giveaway winnings were 5 Ella+Mila polishes. We didn't get to pick our colors, which was kind of nice because we got colors neither of us ever would've picked. Here's the colors we received:
From left to right is: In Line for Wine (a deep burgundy color, as the name explains), From Rio XO (a vibrant bright bold hot pink), Mauve Over (a pale purple), Don't Be Blue (a mint green/blue), Pucker Up (a light pink), and Sugar Fairy (neutral purple-ish).
Of course I was excited to win these for my mom and me, but without her being awesome and giving me a reason to write about her, we never could've won. So yay mom for being awesome! 💜
The first color I used was Sugar Fairy.
In the bottle, I thought the color was beautiful. But I wasn't too big a fan of it on my nails. It's just a little too light for my skin tone. I think this color would benefit someone with very light skin or dark skin.
I think that it's a great color for someone who wants a neutral nail, or someone who isn't really allowed to wear colors for work. I think overall that the color is really pretty, even if I didn't love it on my nails!
I have to say that the staying power of Ella+Mila polishes is pretty awesome. They wear almost like a gel. And despite having a base coat, 2 coats of color, and a top coat; this polish dried quicker than I thought it would have.
This polish is available on their website for $10.50! I'll be posting blog posts on all of these colors, either with my mom wearing them or myself, so keep your eyes peeled!
