As I stated in my previous post about my Lush haul, this mask is for calming the skin. It's got calamine to calm and soothe any redness or irritation. It's in a base of kaolin to help restore the balance of your skin. And the Turkish rose oil is amazing! I'm not huge on floral scents, but this one is so natural. It's got rose oil and rose petals actually. Honestly, I can't rave about the scent anymore! It lasts while it's on your face too so it's a really relaxing and pampering face mask to use! I got a sample of this one specifically for after I use my Juice Beauty Green Apple Peel because it does make my skin red and irritated. I used it today on my regular skin just to see how it would react. This mask is super thick, like an ointment. Between the calamine and the kaolin, it's a little hard to spread. You have to spread it quickly too, because it dries quickly.
It's so refreshing in the summer when it's hot because it's so cold from being in the fridge. I think that's why I love the Fresh Face Masks so much, especially during the warmer months. I can honestly say that this mask is super gentle. I had a pimple on my nose (that of course, I popped) and the mask didn't burn at all while it was on. The mask dries within 10-15 minutes, then you just need to rinse it off with warm water. My face felt slightly tight afterwards but nothing a little lotion didn't fix. My skin felt smooth. It didn't cause any adverse side effects afterwards. I enjoyed it! I'm not positive why this one costs more than their usual Fresh Face Masks. Most of them are $7.95 but this one is $12.95. I think that it's a nice mask, but I don't know if I would buy it full price. But when I get my free Fresh Face mask, which you get after bringing back so many pots, I think I would! Can't beat the price of free! Even if you don't think this one sounds up your alley, there are so many options to choose from! Happy Shopping!
