I bought this a few months back, but I finally am getting around to reviewing it. I literally have so many reviews to do it's "bananas" (see what I did there ?! lol). With Thanksgiving coming up this week, and me having a hefty school week, I'm trying to get a few done tonight. Because tomorrow is all homework and football, Monday and Tuesday work, Wednesday and Thursday is all Thanksgiving prep then Thanksgiving at Casa De Ronan, Friday and Saturday work, Sunday football and homework. A day in the life right? So let's get to it! They have several different flavors, but something about this one caught my eye. Maybe because I love tropical flavors so much, and I love bananas. True story, this flavor is so spot on. It reminds you of eating a banana on a tropical island somewhere. I do wish they had a basic vanilla one, since I'm such a vanilla junkie, but it's good to branch out and try something new. I'm not good at that, so a different lip balm is about as far as I go lol. I love these types of tubes for lip balm, even though I prefer the oval ones because they're easier to store in your pocket. The color of the tube, and the pretty floral designs is exactly what you would think of when it comes to Pacifica.
I think this is a nice lip balm; however, I don't think it's great for the winter. It's not very thick, and I can see having issues when it gets really cold with this not really protecting my lips and keeping them from getting raw. Unfortunately with my skin, I really need thick and goopy to keep it protected. This is a good lip balm though, and I would definitely use it during the summer time. It's my bag lip balm, so I'm still going to presently use it. I've got my Hempz lip balm and EOS Crystal lip balms at work, and I have my Sooth Touch Unscented lip balm for home. Plus, 4 back ups, because you know, lip balm junkie and such. I think this is a good balm overall, and I'm glad I bought it. They even make a lip scrub too that's Sugared Candied Lemon and Sugar. The other flavors are: Indian Chai, Bali Coconut (which was my original choice, but remember, I went out of my comfort zone!), Persian Cherry (another option I was eyeing up, I imagined it smelled like classic Cherry Chapstick from my childhood, so I thought it would invoke a sense of nostalgia), Cuban Mango, and Summer Kale. All of which are presently on sale at Ulta, originally $4.99 on sale for $3.49 and with Christmas coming up, these make great stocking stuffers!
