REVIEW: pacifica hair care

I pretty much ran to Ulta when I discovered their hair care products were already in stores. I wanted the entire collection but I knew I had to be a good girl! So I only grabbed two products (so far): the Coconut Power Long and Strong Healing Shampoo and Coconut Super Power Deep Conditioning Damage Control Mask. I bought these a little over two weeks ago, but I wanted to use them for a bit before reviewing them.

You already know that they're vegan and cruelty free, and I love that Pacifica takes the guess work out of that for you. Both of these products, as they imply, is meant to make your hair stronger so that it can grow longer. As someone who always wants their hair to be longer, I am so all about that. The main ingredients are rice, coconut and super fruits. They work together to replenish dry, damaged, and dull hair. Frequent washing, blow drying, straightening, curling, teasing, twirling, pollution, coloring.. all of this stuff stresses your locks and makes them brittle and break. These products will help with all of that, while gently moisturizing your hair to restore it. You'll see more shine and luster, it'll feel stronger and grow longer! You can use the deep conditioner up to 3x a week for 3-15 minutes each time. I use it just on my ends every time I wash my hair, which is about 3x a week.

These products smell great. They smell similar to their Seafoam Complete Face Wash. Very coconut and beachy, yet still natural. The scent lingers on my hair even after I blow dry and straighten it and I like that. I feel like the shampoo lathers well, and makes my hair feel clean. The conditioner is thick but not too thick that it's annoying to wash out of your hair.

I'm going to be honest: I've gotten several compliments on my hair since I started using these products. Everyone keeps saying it looks so shiny and healthy. And I notice a difference myself too. It feels stronger. My ends don't look as split. I feel like there's less breakage throughout my hair already. Usually when I brush my hair I've got little hair pieces everywhere afterwards, but I'm noticing less now. My hair feels stronger and softer. I'm forever playing with my hair!

I whole heartedly recommend you try something (everything from this collection, vegan or not. Ulta always offers coupons like $3.50 off $10 to make the costs more affordable. Even without them, they're $10 each which isn't really bad. Other high end products full of chemicals and tested on cute little bunnies can cost $20-$30+, and you get both for $20 with no cute little bunnies harmed. I look forward to trying more from this collection! So far I love these products and I think you will agree!

Happy Shopping!
