I received my Naked II palette yesterday in the mail and couldn't wait to try it! As soon as I saw the colors online, I was in love. I'm very into natural colors. You don't often find me wearing bright pinks and blues on my eyes. With my dark brown eyes, neutral colors and purples really make them pop.
I was hesitant to purchase it because of my Allergic Contact Dermatitis, but since the mascara has done my eyes well thus far, I felt confident to try it. If all of these products work out without causing my eyes to flare up, I'm buying their eyeliner next. I digress, back to the palette at hand!
The 3 colors are amazing. There's a taupe shade, a dark brown, and a deep purple. All 3 are shimmery. Plus, they all compliment each other. I love that you can use these 3 shadows from morning to night. Say you're done your work day and it's happy hour, add some more purple to your putter eye and blend it out, BOOM, evening look done! I really can't stress enough how much I love the purple shade, it's definitely my favorite. The shadows are very soft, so you can literally just pat your brush on the color and that's plenty. There's a little fall out but that's to be expected and it doesn't take anything away from how great the palette is. They apply very smoothly as well. At the end of my day, even after this 93 degree humid day, my eyeshadow still looked pretty good. Which, while I'm in the topic, I used my 100% Maracuja Mascara today as well in that heat and it didn't smudge or give me raccoon eyes, so I wanted to mention that as well.
In addition to the eyeshadows are a blush and a highlighter. Both are universally flattering on any skin tone. Also, you could use these for your eyes too! The highlighter is perfect for making the corners of your eyes pop. It gives you that bright eyed and bushy tailed look, which we all need to fake from time to time (to time again if you're like me!) Highlighter is such a great enhancement to your face, and blush can honestly make or break your face. A pretty flush looks good on everyone! The blush is only lightly shimmery so you can add the highlighter on top without having too much shimmer.
As you can tell from the photo above, the purple eyeshadow is broken. I wasn't surprised nor was I mad because the shadows are so soft. I called their Customer Service and spoke to a woman named Georgia who was super helpful. I sent her some photos of the eyeshadow and she sent me a replacement within the hour. I've said it before that Customer Service can make or break a company, and truthfully theirs just enhances an already wonderful company.
I feel like the price is fair considering what you're getting. You're getting essentially a full face palette with top quality ingredients for $45. I used the 10% off code they had on Instagram so I only paid $40.50, and of course free shipping as always! I was also really impressed by how fast I received it. I ordered it Monday and it got here Thursday!
I personally think 100% Pure offers amazing products for fair prices. If you have sensitive skin like I do, you're gonna want to check them out! Follow them on Instagram for special and new releases! They have the new 2nd Skin Foundation coming out July 28th that I can't wait to check out!
