This was one of my clearance Target finds, and I finally used it yesterday, so I wanted to review it for you guys. Since I'm SO BEHIND on blogging, I'm trying to catch up before I start my new job.
I think hair masks are great to use once a week or once every two weeks, no matter the season. I only put mine on my ends, which is where my hair splits and breaks. I never put it on my bangs or scalp, because they get greasy enough as is.
A little background on my hair: my hair is thin, but I have massive, copious amounts of it. For that reason, my hair tangles and knots almost immediately. It is colored, I have bayalage on my ends. Any coloring can damage hair. I only use high end products on my hair, because I'm vain and I'm a woman and I like my hair to look nice.
I shampooed as usual. Then applied this to my ends. It was probably on there for about 5-7 minutes, while I did the rest of my shower stuff. I always rinse out my conditioner last.
As a side note: I will say I feel like they could've filled the tub more. It's like half full, maybe a little more than half. The texture is thick but not too thick to spread, and it soft, if that makes sense. It was easy to apply. The scent was light and natural. There's a lot of beneficial ingredients in this mask, as you can read above, and you get subtle notes of each. It was easy to rinse too. Some masks literally take forever to rinse, and then you still feel like you have some left in your hair, not this one.
I also think it would make an excellent option to shave your legs in a pinch too. Not only would it moisturize your skin, but you'd get a close shave with minimal tugging. So, that's an added benefit.
Overall, I'm happy with the results. Brushing my hair was a breeze, with very few tangles. It's soft and shiny, even now, the day after, it still looks and feels soft. I can't remember what I spent on it, somewhere between $4-$7, so it was definitely worth it either way. I'll probably be using this every week to refresh my hair.
