.I treated myself to a little pre-Christmas shopping for myself at Ulta, with a 20% off my entire purchase coupon! I have some stuff to review for you guys! Today, we’re just working on one, and that’s the HEMPZ lotion.
Spun Sugar and Vanilla Bean literally couldn’t be more Ashley if it tried. I love love love sugared anything, and live my life for vanilla. So, I needed it in my life. Did I need more lotion? Probably not. But, I don’t do dry skin. And it’s wintertime. So, it’s best to stock up. That’s my logic.
This scent is basically, in a nutshell, fabulous. It smells SO good. At first I wasn’t sure how I felt about it. I think it’s the natural HEMPZ scent, but after wearing it for a little, it grew on me so fast lol. And the scent lasts like all day long. Not just the scent, but the moisture it provides.
This lotion leaves a subtle shimmer on your skin. It’s not excessive. It makes your skin look healthy and revitalized. That subtle glow is so pretty!
This is a generous sized bottle, 17 oz., which is a good thing too, because it’s $23. But, it’s worth the $23. It lasts, you don’t need a lot to get the smooth skin you want, it smells great, and the scent lasts long. My only complaint is that I don’t like how it feels on my hands. So, I use my 100% Pure Vanilla Bean lotion on my hands, but I use this on my body. I don’t know why, but I feel like it leaves an odd film on my hands. Maybe it’s the shimmer. I’m not sure. But, it’s not a big enough deal for me to not use it, and to not repurchase it. Especially when I have a coupon!
Here’s a little bonus tip: I use my NCLA Pumpkin Spice Cuticle Oil in addiction to lotion all over my feet, paying special attention to my heels. Their Cuticle Oil mixed with the lotion does a great job at helping my heals not be super dry and flaky. When you’re on your feet all day, you almost can’t escape it. I also use Thesis Beauty Chocolatier’s Scrub on my feet once a week too, for added benefits. There’s my tip of the day. Smooth and supple feet don’t require all the extra money you would spend at a salon, all you have to do is put a little extra TLC into them and they’ll be good as new! 👍🏼
