What a lot of people might not know about Paul Mitchell is that most of their products are vegan, and they've been cruelty free since the 80s. In fact, they were one of the first companies to do so, and have always stood by their cruelty free stance. Paul Mitchell products are basically the only products I use for my hair. Their Awapuhi Shampoo and The Detangler Conditioner are my jams. But, on the days I want to do a little curl, which is rare because my hair doesn't like curls. I have one secret weapon that makes my waves/curls last more than five minutes, and that's this:
Their cruelty free statement is on their bottles, but their vegan products aren't labeled. All you have to do is some general research to see if the product you're eyeing up is vegan friendly. This hair spray doesn't make your hair that gross crunchy feeling, but it does stiffen it a bit just so that it holds your hair into place. It smells really good too, not that artificial smell that you're used to getting with hair sprays. I don't use it often, but I'm always impressed when I do. Here's some photos:
Next time you're looking for a hair spray, don't bypass this one. You can get it at Ulta, and I'm pretty sure at Target too. I got the small size since I barely use it, but they offer a larger size for those who need more!
