Disney and makeup- what a perfect combo! This ultra glossy lip gloss is part of a three part collection, called (appropriately) Bibbidi, Bobbidi, and Boo. I want all three colors, but Boo was the one that stood out to me the most. This shade is a warm rose, and I believe it would flatter all skin tones.
This was layered on top of my clear lip balm, for added moisture. This was only one coat, and I did apply it additionally throughout the day, especially after eating. I'm surprised by how well this lip gloss lasts, and how pigmented it is. More layers = more pigment. I feel like one layer leans more pink than rose on me, and I'm sure my skin color affects it as well, but I think the color is so pretty regardless. It's not sticky; it's truly glossy. It's bright and it just makes your lips look so shiny!
It's pretty moisturizing too. I've been having a lot of problems with my lips being so dry and raw, and it's been awful. NOTHING will heal them, and I think my Pernicious Anemia is part of the problem, plus the eczema, and it's cold, and of course, my body hates me. So, lipgloss has been my go to more so than lipstick, especially matte lipstick because it causes me so much pain trying to get it off and then my lips are raw all over again. It's been a vicious cycle.
My only complaint is that it has a weird smell. It's not necessarily bad, just odd. I din't hate it, but I just felt like it was worth mentioning.
Colourpop makes shopping easy because their website is so user friendly. It literally says "cruelty free" and "vegan" on their products, so you know which ones are vegan friendly without having to search through a list trying to find out if it's vegan or not. Honestly, they update their vegan list almost with almost every new release they have.
Did I mention this lipgloss was only $6? Yes, you read that right. A Disney, vegan, and cruelty free makeup product that's only $6.
I'll let that settle in while you quickly type in Colourpop in your search bar.
