Pocahontas has always been one of my absolute favorite Disney princesses. She was strong, fierce, and stood by her beliefs. She was a great role model. Sure, like all Disney princesses, she fell in love at the drop of a hat, but she was at least a little more cautious that your average princess!
Words can't describe how much I loved Meeko as a little girl. When I was going through pictures for my mom's 50th Birthday Memory Box, there was so many pictures of me as a little girl with Meeko stuffed animals and toys everywhere. I've always loved raccoons, and Meeko was so cute, always stuffing his face... I just loved him.
So, naturally, when Danielle Nicole released yet another Disney collection (just take all my money lady!), and it was Pocahontas themed, I needed all the things. I got two (for now) lol. For Valentine's Day, Kevin bought me the Pocahontas crossbody bag (that I kindly sent him the link for, you know, to be helpful), and I ordered the Meeko makeup bag. There's a Percy pouch that I'm just dying to get, but I'm waiting for a sale, which seldom happens, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for one soon.
How beautiful though? Seriously. Colors of the Wind is basically my anthem. It's about connecting with animals and nature in a way most people no longer do. It gives me feels. So this bag was a must. Did I necessarily need another bag? No way. Do I care? Nope. Had to have it! It was too beautiful to pass up. This was $68.
Now, my Meeko makeup bag, that was my Valentine's Day present to myself, which I actually got for 20% off because they were having a sale for something. President's Day maybe?
Are you in love or are you in love? Because I'm in love. The multilayered glitter adds depth and dimension, the colors are great, the details are perfect, and it's actually quite roomy. I have to get a new bag for work (since I got a new job!), that's not my Disney Snow White backpack, because it's a more professional setting, but I'm gonna use this to carry my essentials in, that way, a part of Disney will always be with me, even if it's not so in your face. I'm like a Girl Scout, in the sense that I have everything anyone could possibly need in my bag. First aid kit, variety of medicines, tampons, rollerball perfume, deodorant, nail file, brush, pocket mirror, etc... This bag will fit all of it. I actually don't carry makeup with me, but it'll fit all of my other products perfectly fine. I'm essentially, in love. This was $38, I think I paid $28 total with shipping when it was on sale.
Lastly, while I don't have this (yet), I just wanted to share the photo from Danielle Nicole's website so you can see just how perfect this Percy pouch is.
Percy is removable, and if I could just buy him as the keychain, I'd be happy, but they're not sold separately. I'm waiting for a sale because this is $58, and I've been doing really good on not uselessly buying things I don't need. So, I'm trying to be good and wait for a sale. Or hope she eventually sells them separately. But seriously, how adorable is this?!
There's also a bigger tote bag version of my crossbody bag as well. Check out her website, because if you're a Disney fan, you might fall in love with everything. She's also done collaborations with Harry Potter, Rugrats, and most recently, Looney Tunes. The Looney Tunes collection is also really high on my "need to have it but don't really need to have it" list. Enjoy!
