My last ever purchase from The Tree Kisser.. it's a sad day friends.
The irony of this is, some of these things don't even apply to me.
▪️I don't drink mimosas, Sunday's or any days of the week. As a matter of fact, I don't drink alcohol at all. But I do love orange juice, and that's like half a mimosa so I say that it counts.
▫️Pink sunsets are beautiful, and I am a fan of those, even if I don't see them that often.
▪️I don't drink coffee so no lattes for this girl, and I barely ever have almond milk, only when I'm on a cereal kick. But, if I did drink coffee, I would have an almond milk latte.
▫️Animal rescues are my jam. I am ALL ABOUT that.
▪️I love sunflowers so much that I'm legit thinking about getting a sunflower tattoo. True story.
▫️Is there a human being alive that doesn't like tacos?! I didn't think so. And FYI, vegan tacos are about 100% better than non-vegan tacos.
So yeah, the whole shirt isn't completely relevant to me, but it's one of the very (very) few Tree Kisser designs that I don't own, and I wanted to buy something full price so that my last purchase could be help make an impact on her final donations as possible.
Truth be told, when she does her final clearance sale, if there's anything left in my size, I'll probably still buy it, whether I own it or not. I kid you not when I say I live in her sweatshirts. And once they get worn out, which I'm sure they will at some point due to the massive amount of time I spend in them, I gonna need back ups.
My heart is still so sad that her shop is closing, but I'm so proud to have been able to support such a great shop owned by a strong and compassionate woman. I will forever rock my Tree Kisser merch with pride. I'm really excited for her to get back to her "roots" so to speak, because I myself am trying to be more active in the activism scene and she's really an inspiration for that. I know she's going to move on to great things, but it feels like the end of an era, and that's just to me! I can't imagine how she feels and how difficult of a decision it was for her to make.
While there's still time and inventory, I suggest you get on her website and stock up on what you can get. Her final clearance sale will probably be as wild as her Imperfect Sales used to be, so grab them now while you can. And I encourage you to continue following her, she still remains a big inspiration to me, and I hope that will be the case for you.
