This post marks my 300th blog post! Holy cannoli! I can’t believe it! It hasn’t caught on with as many people as I would’ve liked by this point, but I’m so proud of myself for following my passion, which has been to review products and share recipes, and share my own personal experiences as well. I’ve heard some really positive comments from others, and they’ve all made me smile. I’m glad to be spreading the word of veganism and cruelty free living with others, and I hope to continue to inspire others to join they life style.
It’s ironic that my 300th post is also a post about The a Tree Kisser, who has shut her virtual store doors and pursued her passion back to activism. I admire her dearly. And I’m so glad to have been able to make a final purchase from her, donate a little more to help the animals, and grab two pieces I didn’t previously have. These are “vintage” styles if you will, from when she first began, and I’m so happy to add them to my Tree Kisser collection. I was so honored to be her 2nd best customer ever! How exciting is that?! But I will always shop businesses that I respect, and I really respect Jess. So, without any further ado..
We’re gonna begin with the shirt on the left- “Are You Making The World Better Today?”
The message on this one is simple, yet thought provoking. It challenges you. If you’re not making the work better today, why not? Go out there and do it! This T-shirt is white with black writing, and a size M. It’s a little big, but the style is boxy so I expected that. Personally, I think showing a little shoulder is much sexier than having your boobs and/or your butt all out. It’s a classy sexy, so I like that I can wear it and feel pretty and a little saucy, but not slutty. Never underestimate the power of a saucy shoulder! The fabric is super soft, as expected from her shirts, and it’ll match everything I own lol. I love it.
Lastly.. my favorite design “Animals Are No Fabric.”
This is actually my favorite design by her. I love that it's a statement, but it's not overly in your face, but it leaves no questions to be asked or wiggle room. Animals Are Not Fabric. The capital letter and bold design makes that known! I have this design in a sweatshirt, a long sleeve shirt, a tank top, a tshirt I think.. I think almost everything she made it in. Now, despite the fact it looks white in the photos, it's not. It's more like an off-white, kind of like a cream color. This is also a size M so it's a little bigger, but that's the style I prefer.
While I'm sad that these will be my last Tree Kisser purchases ever, I'm gonna rock them while I read Jessica's blog, find some new recipes to try, and watch her IG stories. I always like purchasing from companies that have owners with core beliefs I can follow, and who are just genuinely good people. Do I know her personally? Of course not, but she's a vegan, she's all about helping animals and animal activism, and she's donated over $50,000+ to various animal charities through her store. It's quite simple actually, if you're friend of animals, you're friend of Ashley lol.
I truly hope you decide to keep following her too, even if you're not a vegan, or animal activist. You just might learn something new, and embrace a change! Please join me in wishing her the very best on her new adventure!
And a big thanks to all of you, who read my blog, ask me questions, get inspired, and support me. Cheers to 300 more posts!
