My husband and I walked to Lush last night after dinner at Vedge. We were only a few blocks away, so no way could I pass up going to one of my favorite places! I picked up some stuff and I'm excited to share my Lush haul with you! Here's what I got:
Floating Island Luxury Bath Oil
This bath oil melt smells amazing! Fair trade vanilla, sandalwood, and lemon oils all blend together in a base of organic coca and shea butter to make your skin feel and smell amazing. This melt is complete with a piece of real vanilla bean in the middle, and vanilla bean flecks around it. You may remember this used to look different, it was more of a fizzy bath bomb and was shaped different. This is the new design and I think it was a good upgrade! It retails for $3.95 and available in stores and online.
MMMelting Marshmallow Moment Luxury Bath Oil
This is another bath oil that you may remember from before, like the Floating Island, and this one also got the upgrade treatment! This sweet treat is in a coconut oil and cocoa butter base. The pink and yellow color swirl together in your tub for a beautiful view while you indulge in the sweet candy scent. This retails for $3.50 and is available in store and online!
The Experimenter Bath Bomb
This bath bomb looked too fun to pass up. This geometric bomb is a literal rainbow of colors. When put in the tub, it's supposed to create a fizzy performance of colors in your bath water. It's even got glitter, but don't worry, it's made with only biodegradable ingredients! It's got vanilla and tonka absolute, so the smell is amazing! And, apparently has crackling popping candy! This bath bomb has got it all and I can't wait to try it! This giant 6.3 oz bath bomb retails for $8.95 and is available both online and in store.
Butterball Bath Bomb
This is a forever favorite of mine. This vanilla bath bomb is anything but vanilla. The scent is amazing, combining both vanilla with ylang ylang for the ultimate relaxing scent. There's actual chunks of cocoa butter in this bath bomb, so as it melts and fizzes, you'll see chunks of that melting into your water. It's perfect for a long hair bath and the cocoa butter will keep your skin soft the whole time. This 3.1 oz bath bomb retails for $4.95 and you can get it in store or online.
This is probably in my top 3 favorite perfumes ever. The scent is perfection! It's vanilla absolute, mixed with burnt caramel and sandalwood, with notes of jasmine and tonka bean. It only gets better the longer it stays on your skin, as it develops with your body's natural oils and scent. I've been buying it for years, and I'll never stop! This 0.3 oz spray bottle is $16.95 and worth every penny. It's the first thing I picked up when I walked in, knowing that no matter what, I wasn't leaving without it!
Don't Look At Me Fresh Face Mask
Every time I go to a Lush store, I always have to buy a Fresh Face Mask. Typically, I buy Catastrophe Cosmetic because I love it, but I decided to try something new. I was torn between which to try and which it buy, but after taking to the sweet girl who worked there, I decided to buy this one. This bright blue mask contains ground rice to gently exfoliate, murumuru butter to hydrate, tofu to soften your skin up, and lemon juice to tone. The bonus is that you can use it all over your body too! This 2.1 oz mask retails for $10.95 and like all Fresh Face Masks, are only available in stores due to the fact they they need to be refrigerated.
In addition to the Vanillary, every time I go to Lush I have to buy a Charity Pot. Not only does the geranium, ylang ylang, and rosewood oils create a perfect scent, but it has aloe in it to soothe the skin. Even bettered that 100% of the profits go towards various organizations dedicated to helping the animals, the environment, and human rights. At $6.95 for the smallest 1.7 oz size, you can't say no! I always pick one with an animal on it, even though I know the money gets split, I like to think my money goes to the organization of the one I choose. These are available online and in store and you should absolutely buy one, or a few! They make great gifts!
Those were the full sizes I got, but you know I can't leave Lush without samples of stuff to try for later! Here's the samples I got:
-Rosy Cheeks Fresh Face Mask which contains calamine, kaoline, and Turkish rose oil to calm and soothe the skin. Perfect for when my sensitive skin starts acting up!
-Sympathy for the Skin isn't new to me, but it's one that I love. I don't love the price at $27.95 so I had to settle for a sample. This lotion is loaded with bananas and the smell is simply amazing! Definitely try a sample when you go!
-Kalamazoo Beard and Facial Wash is clearly not my sample, but it's for my husband to try. I can't get him to wash his face with anything other than his body wash, so hopefully this will get him to change his mind!
That was my $60 Lush haul! I didn't go in with the intention of spending that much, but it just happens lol. Especially after a glass of wine with dinner and my inhibitions are low, $60 happen really fast lol. But it was an awesome haul and I am SO excited for all my goodies! I'll be reviewing the ones I haven't used yet, so keep your eyes open for blog posts in the near future!
