FAVORITE THINGS: JULY 2018!

I'm down to the wire with this month's favorite things edition, but I've got some goodies in store for you! Let's begin, shall we?

First up, my rose gold sequined Minnie Mouse backpack by Loungefly.

Have I mentioned once or twice that I’m going to Disney 8/12/18 – 8/18/18, cause I am! I know rose gold is so basic and millennial, and you know what, I don’t care! I love it! I even have matching rose gold Minnie ears my aunt bought me from Disney one of the times they went. This backpack is shiny and pretty. It’s got beautiful rose gold details throughout, like the zippers and the zipper pulls. It’s also not terribly big, but not too small. It’s perfect for carrying your essentials through the park. I woke up at 3am to order this on Disney’s website for $85 with absolutely no regrets at all. I’m going shine bright like a rose gold diamond while I’m in Disney.

Since we’re on a Disney theme.. next up is my newest pair of TOMS.

I told you that every monthly edition will include a pair of Disney TOMS lol. My Goddaughter calls me her Fairy Godmother, so when I saw these I was like, come on. Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather look just adorable in this pair, and my Goddaughter is going to love them when she sees them. Anytime I see anything Fairy Godmother related, I always have to get it since I am a Fairy Godmother, after all! This was this month’s release, and they too cute to resist. A little birdie told me next month’s release is Snow White!

Next up.. my new Matt & Nat backpack and keychain!

I took multiple photos of these because they’re just beautiful and fancy and I feel like the fanciest vegan on the block. These were actually early birthday presents from my husband because patience is a virtue neither of us have, he gave it to me now, instead of on September 3rd. I wanted black in the backpack, but they were sold out, also sold out of grey, and I decided on red, because it’s a power color and I’m a powerful woman #girlpower ! Matt & Nat is a luxury vegan company, selling a variety of vegan goods that you would never know aren’t vegan. I like to carry a big bag for work, and I love backpacks. So, Kevin ordered me this, on sale for $108.75 (knowing I’d never spend the money on it), and the keychain I wanted in black, on sale for $18.75 (also wouldn’t pay that for a keychain), and I feel so fancy! I’m using the keychain for my keys, and my backpack for work. But it’s so spacious, I could use it for traveling, I could use it strictly for my laptop and school stuff.. the possibilities are endless. The quality is fantastic too, as you would both hope and expect for what you pay for their products. I’m in the process of starting to sell some of my other bags, because they’re never ending, and have just a few on hand for whatever reasons. Totally worth it!

Next up, magnetic bookmarks from Crafty Babas!

Picture
If you follow my personal page, or know me in general, you know I love horror movies. I also love to read, though I seldom get the chance to do it. I do have a ton of books that I plan on reading, probably after I graduate, since I won’t have the time before then. I have several bookmarks from Crafty Babas, a UK based company, and I had to add Michael Myers from Halloween (my favorite movie ever) and David from The Lost Boys (one of my favorite movies.) David was a new addition to her characters, and since I didn’t have Michael, I figured I’d add him to the list too! I think I paid between $7-$8 with shipping for these from the UK, which isn’t bad at all. They’re available from her store on Etsy!

Next up, reusable Mickey tin bottle from Target!

Picture
This is actually my second bottle from Target that's like this, except this one was on clearance for 50% off! I'm amazed at how cold this keeps already cold beverages and for how long they stay cold. It doesn't fit a full 16 oz. water bottle in it, but it does fit about 3/4 of it in there, so I would say it's 12 oz. in size. I love the vintage Mickey style, and I love the simplistic colors. I love even more that it was $3.98; you can't beat that price! Target actually had all of this Mickey stuff on clearance (you may see some items in my August favorite things edition, who knows?!), and I recommend you hop to it before you miss out. I think most Targets have taken down their Mickey section, but the clearance items should still be scattered around the store, if you search for it.

Lastly, Ariel flannel by Cakeworthy!
Picture
You thought we were done with Disney, didn’t you? GOTCHA! We’re never done with Disney. This flannel, originally $50, was half off and fully amazing. Ariel is my favorite, and the embroidered Ariel signature and Flounder really just set it apart from the rest. It’s not incredibly soft, but I plan on wearing it with a long sleeve in the cooler months anyway. Basically, it’s the cutest! And yes, that is a Beast pin (for my pin board) that I bought as well, and should be included because it's the scene when they're feeding the birds and it's so cute.

Cleary, this month's theme is pretty Disney heavy, considering I'm about to be there! And let's be honest, August will probably be pretty Disney heavy too, since I'll be coming back from there. But, you never know!

That’s it for this month’s edition. Stay tuned, August is just around the river bend (told you, never done with Disney! Pocahontas reference FTW!)
