WHO IS THE VEGAN CRAZY CAT LADY?
My name is Ashley. I'm 29 years old, happily married to the man of my dreams, a vegan, a lover of all animals, a make up and beauty care junkie, a TVaholic, Halloween queen, and of course, crazy cat lady. I have four wonderfully spoiled cats: Leopold, Ollie, Tabitha, and Luna. Tabby is the undisputed princess of our castle. She is also the cute fluffy face you see on The Crazy Cat Lady's logo. The other sweet face you see on the newly updated logo is my Leopold. Even though Tabby is the princess, Leopold has always been the undisputed king. Together, their royalty will conquer the world, or at least my bed, and this blog.
WHY THE BLOG?
People think that being a vegan and living a cruelty free life is hard and difficult. I made it my goal to set out to prove that it's not. With a little bit of research, and a whole lot of compassion and heart, you can live the same rewarding life I live. From food to beauty products to accessories and household products, I've got you covered. Every review I give is 110% honest. These products, recipes, companies, etc.. are ones that I myself use and trust. I hope you like what you read, and please, share the knowledge! The more people who know about this beautiful life, the more others can live it, and the more animals lives benefit from it! But that was only the beginning..
Throughout the time I've been writing this blog, it has become more than what I originally anticipated. It's become a forum for things I feel are important to share, even if they don't pertain specifically to being a vegan. Sometimes I share more personal stories, struggles I've gone through, health issues I have, things about my cats, cat related merchandise, etc.. basically whatever suits me at that particular time. This blog has something for everyone, which is what I was hoping for.
I've gotten so much wonderful feedback from people regarding the changes I've made. I talk about things that a lot of other people don't want to. My eczema, my contact dermatitis, my extraordinarily sensitive skin, my anxiety, my OCD, my Hashimoto's Disease... things that need discussing that are taboo, if you will.
It's a wonderful feeling being able to share all of this with those who care enough to read it. Doing this blog has meant the world to me. And if I can help one person, in any way shape or form, through what I write, then my job is done.
